Why have a website?

Customers want Information

More and more, customers want information. They want to know what you offer, where you are, when you're open till and possibly even what your prices are. They want to know how to contact you, will they need to pick up their phone to do it, or can they email you? Even if as a business you want to keep your orders coming in by phone, your customers could find a list of what you have on offer very helpful.

Most of us use the Web

Many of us now use the web in order to find things and get information, products and services that we need. The governments own business link website states that for a local business whose customers order by phone and receive the services or goods in person that "The absence of a website may negatively affect your customers' perception of your business."
